I agree that I am a mental health professional, licensed in my state. My license was issued and granted by a board in the United States. I agree to follow my licensing board’s ethical guidelines and my state laws. My license is in good standing and is current. I acknowledge that the status of my license will be verified by the administrator of this website. I have a Masters, Doctoral or Medical Degree in a mental health field. I acknowledge that this website has the right to restrict my use of this site if found that my license is expired, suspended, revoked or otherwise put into any status that restricts my practice of therapy and counseling.
3. DISCLAIMERS
The information gained from consultations that take place on this site does not constitute advice to a client and is only used as input to the practitioner. This website is intended for purely informational purposes to enhance the practice of mental health therapy and counseling. The information gained on this website is not to replace professional judgment. Each individual member is solely responsible for any practice that he/she chooses to utilize. Members are solely responsible for the well being of their clients and also responsible for the status of their license. Persons accessing this information assume full responsibility for the use of the information and agree that Consultapeer.com is not responsible or liable for any claim, loss, or damage arising from the use of the information.
4. CLIENT AND MEMBER CONFIDENTIALITY
Confidential, identifiable information about your clients is not permitted on this website. This is to protect both you and your clients. The only confidential information that will be given to consultapeer.com about you will be through the membership enrollment process and is only used for verification of credentials. If you are found to have shared confidential information on this website it may result in the restriction of your use of this site.
5. USE
You agree to act in the best interest of your peers and their clients. You agree to only give helpful feedback that is within your scope of practice and expertise. You acknowledge that any inappropriate or unethical feedback may be reported and addressed with the possibility of restricting your use of this site. You agree to report any inappropriate or questionable behavior that you have knowledge of to the website administrator. You agree to uphold the integrity of this field by not replying to posts that are beyond your area of expertise.
6. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Consultapeer.com may terminate your use of this website if you violate any terms of this Agreement.
7. PAYMENT
You agree to a monthly or yearly recurring charge for use of this website. You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting the website administrator. You understand that if you do not make payment your membership may be cancelled.
Applicants understand that if Consultapeer.com is unable to verify credentials, $15.00 will be retained for the verification process.
8. Waiting Period
Although Consultapeer.com makes all attempts to verify credentials in a matter of hours after payment is made, this process may take up to 48 hours dependent on the accessibility of any particular licensing board.
9. GENERAL
Consultapeer.com may revise this Agreement at any time by updating this posting. You agree to be bound by this Agreement and any modifications to this Agreement occurring prior to your continued use of the Materials or access to the Site. You should visit this Agreement from time to time to review the current terms of this Agreement because they shall be equally binding on you. Certain provisions of this Agreement may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages at this Site.
